Eduardo Antunes, Executive Board Member of Glintt, talks about the launch of the new platform, set for October, and its impact on the sector.

With more than 25 years of experience, Glintt is the largest Portuguese-rooted technology company operating in the healthcare sector. Through innovation, it aims to contribute to the sector’s transformation.
Eduardo Antunes, Glintt’s Executive Board Member, explains the commitment this role demands: “This gives us added responsibility when it comes to the challenges we set for our clients and partners.”
In the Healthcare division, the company has more than 320 employees and serves more than 500 clients (across various types of healthcare facilities), operating in the Iberian Peninsula and in other markets, such as Latin America.
Following its strong commitment to developing technology solutions, Glintt has a virtually universal presence across all areas of healthcare, from hospital pharmacy to logistics, administrative and clinical areas, as well as inpatient care and nutrition, among others. “In fact, in every business area of the sector, you can find a Glintt solution, and it’s this scale and accumulated experience that sets us apart in the market. Just recently, we were named the anchor company for the healthcare sector in COTEC Portugal’s Connect 4.0 program, which is a source of pride, but also of responsibility and determination,” adds Eduardo Antunes.

Highlighting his next project, into which Glintt is putting all its know-how, Eduardo Antunes announces the launch — expected this October — “of an innovative new platform of specialized solutions and services for the healthcare sector. Developed with a distinctive profile and a pragmatic concept, this new platform delivers the agility the ecosystem needs.”
Eduardo Antunes also explains that “the innovation behind this new Glintt platform comes from providing greater functional and technological knowledge, allowing various solutions to connect with one another,” and adds that, in the near future, the company “will invest significantly in launching new solutions, modules and services that will add more functionality and drive continuous improvement of the platform.”
As part of this sector modernization and transformation process, the company is “challenging various partners and clients to jointly introduce new business models with benefits for all parties involved.
We are working with that ambition and strengthening our presence in the Portuguese, Spanish and international markets.”

In summary, Eduardo Antunes states that innovation and a 360º service approach to healthcare are always present in Glintt’s philosophy, in areas such as “data strategy, security, interoperability, artificial intelligence or the hospital of the future — areas in which we are developing innovative solutions.”
